Victoria real estate market activity has picked up considerably in 2015; a 25% year over year increase in sales volume. But, before we do the happy dance, we should be aware that the increase in volume merely boosts us back to the level of the ten-year average. We're back to normal! The increased volume is reflecting in strengthened prices in certain segments of the market, notably the entry level and the next tier up . . . the $550-750 range. It is thought that prices in that range are up 2 or 3% at present.
